  • Nazia Hassan was a qualified lawyer
  • Nazia Hassan was considered to represent the UN as an ambassador from Pakistan
  • "Aap jaisa koi" (Qurbani 1980) was the first 24 track song in Indian film history
  • "Aap jaisa koi" had two seperate tracks of Nazia's vocal part merged together as can be heard on the echo effect of the song
  • "Aap jaisa koi" won Nazia Hassan best Female playback singer in the Indian Filmfare awards in 1980
  • Nazia Hassan was only 15 when she sang "Aap jaisa koi", 16 when she sang "disco deewane" and 18 when she recorded "Boom Boom"
  • Disco Deewane (1980)was a major number 1 on the Brazilian Charts
  • The track Disco Deewane was added in the last minute for the album of Disco Deewane
  • Their "Star" Indian film soundtrack was fully composed by Biddu

  • Smaller sister Zachi Hassan's voice features in "Telephone Pyaar", "Soja meri jaan" and "Mama Papa"
  • In early 1989 the duo hosted a one-off musical show "Music 89" that appeared on PTV. The programme showcased some of the best musical talents. Vital Signs and Jupiters were amongst the groups
  • Music 89 kickstarted the pop group phenomenon in Pakistan as several young upcoming bands wanted to enjoy the fame of show business
  • In 1990, Zoheb and Nazia were part of a successful advertisment campaign launched by Lever Brothers Pakistan for their Yellow Label tea brand. The "Young Tarang" song Dosti was specially modified for the ad.
  • "Mama Papa" was of course a tribute song to their parents
  • Nazia and Zoheb Hassan initiated a campaign in 1992 to fight the nuisance of drugs in Pakistan by promoting B.A.N (Battle Against Narcotics)
  • "Nasha" (Camera) was the main theme song for B.A.N and to this day is the first and only existing song in Pakistan that highlights the evergrowing menace of drugs
  • Zoheb Hassan sang 2 English tunes in their UK released "Camera" album
  • The only cover version song sung by both was a track "If I could" which featured in the "Camera" (1992) UK version album
  • "Camera" was the only album where their longtime loyal composer Biddu had not featured
  • An extra track called "Aaj nahin to kal" was recorded for the Pakistani released "Camera" album.
  • Biddu composed "Made In India" with Nazia Hassan in mind
  • Zoheb Hasan met Gina in June 1998 in Islamabad, got married on August 24th at Islamabad while the Valima was held at Karachi.
  • The Valima was quite unique as the bride was brought in a traditional `doli' followed by a group of dancers performing the traditional Balochi dance.
  • The bride, Gina wore a green outfit and Zoheb a white Sherwani. Nazia Hasan looked beautiful at her brother's wedding and valima. Zoheb and Gina cut a three-tier wedding cake at the end of the weddig. (Wishing both Zoheb and Gina a long and happy married life)
  • Zoheb Hassan plans to release an album titled "Darr" (Unconfirmed)
  • BMG Crescendo India re-released "Young Tarang" just before Nazia Hassan's death. It also included 2 new remixes of "Aag" and "Aankhen Milane waley".
  • Zoheb Hassan plans to arrange a tribute programme in Pakistan.
  • Nazia's favourite songs amongst her own tunes were "Disco Deewane" and "Taali de thullay"
